Transformation begins when we set our hearts to gaze upon the Lord. As we worship and pray, we are captivated by the beauty of His holiness, His love, and His unchanging character. Psalm 27:4 reminds us of the psalmist’s deep longing to dwell in the presence of the Lord and to gaze upon His beauty. This act of beholding changes us—it aligns our hearts with His, replacing anxiety and fear with peace and hope.
