Beautiful Feet

We hope to see the body of Christ in Playford bless every home in our city from Pentecost 2023 to Pentecost 2024. This campaign is a fruit of our Beautiful Feet Companions initiative of blessing homes and hosting BBQs in Andrews Farm on a Quest to point everyone to Jesus and His way of life. We ask for workers to connect with 106,000 people living in Playford. Many of them are among the least reached people of the world. Imagine the ripple effect to touch nations with good news.

In this Bless the city campaign Andrews Farm Community Church will adopt 5,000 homes in Davoren Park and Andrews Farm. We will plan to for a team on Saturdays each month at 10:30am to walk and bless homes in these suburbs. 

Churches and individuals will join this initiative across Playford. We encourage you to bless your city by starting in your home with prayer for the city. Invite a friend to join you to regularly pray for your family, neighbours and friends who do not know Jesus. Plan with a friend to walk and bless at least 30 homes a month. Ask for homes of peace open to the gospel. Bless the street with the joy of Christ’s presence and ask God to show you ways to love the city with acts of kindness  and hospitality. 

This campaign is to bless everyone in the city from Pentecost to Pentecost 2023 to 2024 began as we prayed and thought  about what happened in Jerusalem on the day after Pentecost. The church began to meet in homes and bless people on the streets in Jesus name. They worshipped in homes everyday and gossiped the good news everywhere with everyone.

This campaign is a fruit of the Beautiful Feet Initiative. In this initiative we encourage followers of Jesus to be the presence of Christ everywhere in the city everyday. We have been intentional  to walk with at least one other person in a neighbourhood to pray, bless and build relationships. This has  led to hosting BBQs in parks and inviting those we met to learn about Jesus by joining a discovery Bible study group. Small discovery Bible study groups have formed. Several have come to faith in Jesus and lives are being transformed.
